The word ofício, which means “métier” or “arts and crafts”, is a tribute to masters such as photographers, blacksmiths, joiners, carpenters, potters, craftsmen, tailors and all the ones who made and still make their work a piece of art: to transform iron, wood, stone, paper, silver, gold, fabric and many other raw materials into utensils and decorative objects.
`Every craft aptitude brings benetfits.`
Pousada dos Ofícios is located at the entrance of the city of Ouro Preto. Since its opening in March 2009, it has been settled to receive our clients with much comfort in our 19 rooms, equipped with TV and minibars. Our breakfast offers groceries and delicacies from Minas Gerais; in the rooms, some pictures of Ouro Preto depict some of the local history and nature. We have a parking lot and Tiradentes Square is located at 800 meters from us.
